The artwork was featured in the exhibition “Manifestations of Resistance and Disappearance” at BWA Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski (2026).

The works touch upon themes such as biodiversity and species extinction. They are inspired by biological phenomena and symbiotic processes, including the mycorrhizal relationship between fungi and tree roots, coral reefs, and lichens—forms created through the cohabitation of fungi and algae.

From the artist: “The project to which these paintings belong also serves as a critique of systemic neglect, which focuses on protecting only specific parts of the environment that benefit humans while ignoring the holistic nature of ecosystems. These works place nature at the center as a community of beings constantly exposed to imbalances. I want my art to be a form of resistance against the marginalization of environmental issues and growing misinformation, while simultaneously serving as an impulse for reflection and education.”
