Born in Skar\u017cysko \u2013 Kamienna. In 1981 he graduated from the Artistic Education Institute of Maria Curie-Sk\u0142odowska University in Lublin. He defended his diploma in graphics under the guidance of professor Danuta Ko\u0142wzan-Nowicka. Member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers since 1983. In the years 1996-2000 he conducted a first degree qualifying course in the field of painting, and then a second degree course in the field of graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Pozna\u0144, where in 2004 he was awarded the title of professor of arts. He worked at several universities.<\/p>\n
Painter, printmaker, photographer. He also makes art books. He is the author of over a hundred unique books. He has been awarded many prestigious prizes, among others, three times by the Minister of Science and Higher Education. His work has been presented in more than eighty solo exhibitions and several hundred group exhibitions at home and abroad. He has conducted more than 380 artistic realizations in the form of creative workshops. He is the author of scientific and popular publications, including monographs, articles, catalogs of exhibitions and creative workshops.
