We would like to invite you to the exhibition titled\u00a0LET’S GO!\u00a0<\/em>in Galerie Pokusa in Wiesbaden, Germany, where paintings by two students of the Academy of Art and Design in Wroc\u0142aw: Katarzyna Frankowska & Katarzyna Wiesio\u0142ek are to be presented.<\/p>\n

The young artists are both laureates of last year’s edition of painting competition\u00a0ATTITUDES<\/em>, organised by the academy, and, as the main prize, they had the exhibition of their works, called\u00a0ATTITUDES 2013<\/em><\/a>, in Galeria M.<\/p>\n

Katarzyna Frankowska (1988)\u00a0– born in Z\u0142ocieniec, graduate of the Secondary School of Arts in Szczecin, at present, painting student of the 5th year at The Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wroc\u0142aw, in the studio of professor Stanis\u0142aw Kortyka. Scholar of the President of the City of Szczecin (2007), laureate of the honourable distincion in the Franciszka Eibisch Foundation painting competition (2013) and Grand Prix of the first edition of the\u00a0ATTITUDES\u00a0<\/em>painting competition organised by the Academy of Art and Design in Wroc\u0142aw.<\/p>\n

Katarzyna Wiesio\u0142ek\u00a0(1990) – born in Nowogard, graduate of the Secondary School of Arts in Szczecin, since 2010 painting student\u00a0at\u00a0The Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wroc\u0142aw, at present, in the studio of professor Stanis\u0142aw Kortyka. Scholar of the President of the City of Szczecin (2009, 2010), of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2010), of the City of Wroc\u0142aw (2013) and of the Rector of the Academy of Art and Design (2013). Had several individual exhibitions, took part in competitions and group\u00a0shows: 8th International Biennial of Drawing Pilsen 2012, 5th International Drawing Competition in Wroc\u0142aw (2012) or 9th Small Form Painting Triennial in Gallery Wozownia, in Toru\u0144 (2012).<\/p>\n

The opening of\u00a0LET’S GO!\u00a0<\/em>exhibition is on Friday, 21st of March.<\/p>\n
