Does everyone in Wrocław know that there are artists living and creating right next to us – just now? That it is a reason to be proud of as their creativity enriches us and our city?

Good painter is a famous painter, exhibition in Galeria M Odwach by XY ankamierzejewska– artist from Wrocław, is a provocation, a juxtaposition of portraits of famous artists – Andy Warhol, Picasso, de Koonig, Van Gogh, Grzyb with great female artists from Wrocław – Małgosia ET BER Warlikowska , Kasia Kmita, Alex Urban. Probably, we will not live to see their fame, but we can enjoy their work here and now.

XY ankamierzejewska: The series of paintings called “My Men,” which was shown at the Museum of Śrem, got enriched with portraits of beautiful women, great personalities in art: artists, whose works I think about before going to sleep, i see them whenever I close my eyes; I admire their attitude and art work (to paraphrase Tracy Emin this exhibition could be titled: “all the artists I have ever slept with”).

The opening will be held on Friday, 5 April 2013 at 8 pm. The exhibition will run until 13 April 2013.
