We would like to invite you to the exhibition of paintings by Janusz Tyrpak, titled “Hybrid Pathways”.
In 1978-83, he was a student of the Antoni Kenar National Art Gymnasium in Zakopane, in 1984-1990 student of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, Poland. Member of BKF – The Danish Association of Visual Artists, laureate of many awards, American Scandinavian Society Award in 2014 among others, author of numerous solo shows and participant of a vast number of group exhibitions. Since 1990 he lives and works in Denmark.
„Hybrid Pathways” is a presentation of paintings, which are dialogues of the artist with Polish art classisc: Kossak, Chełmoński or Malczewski. They are, nevertheless, not only a conversation with their art, but also a commentary to contemporary times and events.
The opening of the exhibition will take place on Friday, April 20 at 7 pm in Galeria M Odwach.
The exhibition will be open from 20 April – 5 May 2018.
