Galeria M has been active in the contemporary art market since 1997 in Wrocław, Poland. We represent artists, organise exhibitions, participate in art fairs in Poland and abroad, and publish. Our main goal is to promote the work of Polish artists and show a wide spectrum of fine arts: painting, printmaking, drawing, sculpture, glass and ceramic art.
Galeria M operates under the auspices of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers.
We work with a group of artists. Among them are established creators such as Malwina Malwina Niespodziewana, Urszula Wilk and Eugeniusz Minciel, Anka Mierzejewska, Barbara Trzybulska, Danka Jaworska, Kacper Bożek, Mirek Antoniewicz and Stanisław and Anna Wejman, as well as interesting young artists whom we support and promote – Daria Pietryka, Helena Minginowicz, Katarzyna Adamek-Chase, Ignacy Nowodworski and Monika Cichoń.
Galeria M does individual and group exhibitions, also themed shows. For our artists, we also organize exhibitions outside the gallery, both in Poland and abroad, including the Museum of the City of Łódz, The City Museum of Wrocław, art galleries in Frankfurt, Munich and Starnberg, Germany. Every year, we participate in the European Night of Museums.
We have participated in a number of art fairs in Poland and abroad: Art Poznan, Warsaw Art Fair, IAF Warsaw, RING Art Fair in Wroclaw, Art Fair Stockholm (2002, presentation of works by Eugeniusz Get-Stankiewicz and Mirek Antoniewicz), Kunstmesse Leipzig in Leipzig, Affordable Art Fair in Amsterdam, Hamburg and Berlin, Discovery Art Fair in Cologne.
We publish visual materials to promote artists we represent – catalogs, cards, invitations, calendars – in 2000 we received a distinction in the National Calendars Review VIDICAL-Wilanów.
We carry out special editions of prints on demand, for example: Przemysław Tyszkiewicz for Auto-Bay and Galeria M & Mirek Antoniewicz for Volvo Poland and for DeLaval, Tadeusz Michał Siara for The National Labour Inspectorate.
We run a range of activities for individuals and business: interior design, assistance in selecting art works, handling corporate events.
