Born in Gliwice, Modesta Gorol is a visual artist working primarily with traditional printmaking techniques such as etching, aquatint, and mezzotint, as well as watercolor, sound, and elements of virtual reality. She graduated in 2024 with an MFA in Printmaking from the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław, where she studied under Professor Przemysław Tyszkiewicz. She also studied piano performance at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław.
She has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Poland and abroad, with her works shown in cities such as Lviv, Tokyo, Dresden, and Knoxville. In 2024, she completed an artist residency at Grafikwerkstatt Dresden, and her debut was awarded an honorable mention at the 12th Polish Print Triennial in Katowice.
She lives and works in Wrocław.
